Steam has just added four more free-to-play titles - B.A.D. Institute, Rebel Pirates, Bingo Machine, and Stick Figure Combat - ranging from horror and naval MMO to utility and arcade mayhem. All games are available to claim now on Steam.

Steam’s growing list of free-to-claim titles just got four new additions on May 7. While the previous roundup covered a wave of indie freebies across different genres, this latest batch brings a slightly mixed bag: from naval warfare to a bingo simulator.

Here’s a quick breakdown of the newly listed games:

1. B.A.D. Institute

A first-person survival-horror game set in a haunted boarding school. You play as Hào, a new transfer who wakes up to find Brightwater Art & Design school overrun by monsters that resemble familiar faces. With only your phone and your surroundings to rely on, the game focuses on stealth, puzzle-solving, and staying alive long enough to escape.

2. Rebel Pirates

This one’s a sea-based MMO arcade strategy game where players control their own ship and crew to conquer islands. You can upgrade your ship, equip cannons, and coordinate with fleets in PvP naval battles. It features regular events and daily quests. Launched on May 1, the game currently holds a perfect rating from the handful of early user reviews.

3. Bingo Machine

It’s exactly what it sounds like. This app simulates a physical bingo draw machine using 75 or 90 balls. That’s it - no bingo cards, no scorekeeping, and no fancy gameplay. It’s a free utility tool, clearly meant for organizers or casual use, though the full-featured version is locked behind a paid DLC.

4. Stick Figure Combat

This arcade arena game pits you against endless waves of grey stick enemies. It’s fast-paced, packed with unlockable weapons, and includes both a level editor and online leaderboards. While the combat’s the core focus, you can also create your own zombie levels or EXP farms. It’s basic in presentation but surprisingly replayable. The game just launched on April 30 and became free this week.

Each game brings something different to the table - some just for fun, some purely functional. With Steam continuing to add more free games each week, this drop is another weekly reminder to keep checking in if you’re looking to bulk up your library with indie and experimental titles.
