A possible successor to the popular Anker Prime 67W Wall Charger is rumored to be on the way. The new accessory would offer a different three ports compared to the original model, which launched last year. There also appear to be upgrades to the single and combined maximum outputs.

A new Anker Prime 67W Wall Charger could launch soon. The original version, model A2669, arrived in 2023 and has proved popular with customers. The report of this new accessory comes from tipster u/joshuadwx via Reddit.

As with the older model, the possible successor will offer three ports. However, these appear to be three USB-C outputs rather than two USB-C and one USB-A. The maximum output from a single port is 70W, an upgrade on the 67W power of the original accessory. On top of this, the maximum output when multiple ports are in use has been increased from around 65W to 70W. However, how the power will be allocated between the various ports remains to be discovered.

It also needs to be determined whether the accessory will look and feel the same as its predecessor, which measures 1.9 x 1.8 x 2.4 inches (~49.6 x 45.6 x 61.5 mm) and weighs 5.25 oz (~149.1 g). At the time of writing, the pricing and release date for the new Anker Prime 67W wall charger has yet to be discussed. It could be that the upcoming accessory costs the same as the older model, which retails for $59.99.
