Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro: Premium earbuds with barometer, spatial audio, noise supression and interactive charging case

Anker is developing new wireless earbuds, the Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro, which are aimed at users who are willing to dig a little deeper into their pockets for powerful features. There are currently no official details on price or availability, but unconfirmed information suggests that the market launch will be "soon, possibly in October" and that the cost is expected to be $149.99, which naturally should be taken with a grain of salt. The Soundcore Liberty 4 earbuds are currently priced at $99.

The Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro will be offered under the model name A3954 and come with two drivers, namely a 10.5 millimeter main driver and a 4.6 millimeters dynamic driver. Bluetooth 5.3 and Google Fast Pair are supported. Audio transmission is said to operate at high quality via LDAC. Moreover, strong suppression of ambient noise is advertised, which is managed via six microphones and a barometer for measuring atmospheric pressure. In concrete terms, users will be able to adaptively reduce intrusive sound and background noise by up to 50 dB. 

Various modes are available, such as spatial audio, for which the Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro can reportedly detect head movement. A mode for intelligible conversations is also on board. 'Find My Device' is supported, which means that the headphones should not be so easy to misplace or lose. The charging case can be charged wirelessly in three hours and a little faster via USB-C. The maximum total runtime with ANC is estimated at 30 hours.

IPX5 certification promises protection against water damage. According to the unconfirmed information, the charging case is equipped with a small display and a control unit and can display the charging status and the current ambient pressure. The camera of a paired device can also be controlled with this charging case, which may prove useful for group photos.
