Anker SOLIX Solarbank 2 now supports Shelly 3EM products
Anker has updated its app to version 3.0.0, bringing a new feature to the SOLIX Solarbank 2 E1600 Pro and Solarbank 2 E1600 Plus. The latest software is available for owners of these balcony power plants who use iOS and Android smartphones.
According to the release notes, version 3.0.0 brings support for the Shelly 3EM and the Shelly Pro 3EM. These 3-phase energy meters allow you to track your energy consumption and intelligently optimize energy usage. This should mean that you can use one of these Shelly smart home products in place of Anker’s Smart Meter to enable a dynamically adjusted power output from the Solarbank 2 devices, a feature designed to maximize energy efficiency. However, it has been reported that some users cannot currently connect the Anker and Shelly products.
It is worth noting that similar devices from brands like EcoFlow and Zendure already offer this integration. The changelog also lists support for the new SOLIX C300X DC portable power station, unveiled in August. On top of this, various unnamed functions have been optimized. You can download the Anker app version 3.0.0 from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
