Enteligent's TLCEV T1: Solar-powered EV charging with dual 600V Inputs and real-time monitoring
Enteligent, a U.S.-based company, has announced the launch of the TLCEV T1, a trusted charging system designed for electric vehicles (EVs). Enteligent has a history of working on innovative energy solutions, including the NMax Transmitter, which boosts the safety and efficiency of solar power systems by providing rapid shutdown capabilities for photovoltaic systems during emergencies - a feature critical for complying with NEC 2017 regulations. With the TLCEV T1, users can directly connect to a solar canopy for easy EV charging access.
Building on its experience in energy management, Enteligent’s TLCEV T1 specifically targets the challenges of EV charging safety and reliability. The system monitors key charging parameters, such as voltage, current, and temperature, in real-time. It actively manages these factors to prevent overcharging, voltage fluctuations, and electrical faults, which can further lead to battery degradation or safety hazards. The TLCEV T1 is designed to adjust charging rates dynamically, claiming to preserve the battery's long-term health.
A key feature of the TLCEV T1 is its proactive fault detection system. By continuously analyzing charging data, the system can identify and address potential issues before they cause damage, the company states.
Additionally, the TLCEV T1 includes a user-friendly interface that provides real-time information on the charging process. The charger natively supports Tesla models produced since October 2020 using the NACS charging standard. For older Tesla models, a hardware retrofit may be required. The charger is also compatible with other EVs that use the CCS1 port, and it can accommodate these vehicles with the appropriate charging cables or adapters.
