While yesterday's offer for the Legion Pro 5i was mightily intriguing for gamers who are looking to buy a new RTX 4070 laptop, deal hunters who would like to save a couple of hundred dollars might be more interested in the similarly powerful Dell G16 7630.

Just like earlier this month, the American PC manufacturer is once again selling the Dell G16 7630 with the Intel Core i9-13900HX and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card for $1,169 including free shipping. Usually, the 16-inch Dell gaming laptop would cost $1,749, which means that this sale price is 33% below the official list price. Prospective buyers will have to apply the newsletter coupon in order to get this spicy discount on the Dell G16.

Aside from the well-performing Core i9 and RTX 4070, the Dell G16 comes with 16GB RAM and a 1TB SSD, but both the memory and SSD can be upgraded later on. In contrast to the SKU that we tested, this Core i9 and RTX 4070 variant should offer even more CPU and GPU performance in addition to the simple maintenance and decent fan noise that we praised. But for under $1,200, the Dell G16 7630 is arguably one of the best bang-for-the-buck laptops in this crowded price segment.
