When the Amazfit T-Rex 3 was announced at IFA 2024, it was released in two colors — Onyx and Lava. Amazfit has now announced a third color variant, albeit in limited quantities.
The new color is called Haze Gray and it has a light gray casing with similarly colored matching straps unlike the other two color variants which have a dark gray/black casing. Of course, owners can still purchase replacements straps which are available in a range of colors, materials, and designs including nylon, silicone, fluoroelastomer, and upcycled silicone to style up and personalize the watch.
However, unless you absolutely love the new color, you are better off purchasing the Amazfit T-Rex 3 in Lava and Onyx, thanks to being currently available at a much lower price than the new Haze Grey colorway.
Amazon has the Onyx and Lava variants available for $234.99, 16% or $45 off the original price of $279.99. The two color variants can also be purchased at the same discounted price on Amazfit's own store, whereas the new Haze Gray color retains the launch price of $279.99.
The Amazfit T-Rex 3 is a feature packed rugged smartwatch, and since its launch, it has received multiple updates that brought new features. Just this month, a new update added support for HYROX Physical Fitness Test that allows users to know how fit they are and what HYROX race category to enter into.It also added snow plowing as a new workout while the maps app can now display important locations such as hospitals, stores, restrooms, and stadiums.
In October, it also received an update that added support for blood pressure monitoring, although users will need to calibrate it with a blood pressure monitor. The T-Rex 3 also has a native app for controlling Sonos products.
