Reviews for the Alienware m15-565K7

Until we spend more time with the m15, we can't really judge how well it holds up - but on paper it has top specs for the form factor (except for limited RAM) and some seriously tempting display options. From the outside though, there's not much to complain about here. Those big ol' bezels are gone, the keyboard's stepped up, and the Legend design looks lush. This is exactly what an Alienware laptop should look like in 2019 - let's just hope it delivers on the promise.

Combined, all this makes the m15 and m17 exceptionally tempting gaming rigs indeed though prices will be predictably princely with both gaming notebooks started in on the ground floor with from USD1,500 and up. Stay tuned to Dell’s official website for more updates here.

Until we spend more time with the m15, we can't really judge how well it holds up - but on paper it has top specs for the form factor (except for that pesky RAM cap) and some seriously tempting display options. The only question mark is really how well the new cooling design manages the power on hand.

There's no denying, the Alienware m15 is a real looker. They say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but you can certainly judge this new laptop on the face of it. Staggering beauty carries through into powerhouse specs that should keep you happy whatever you're doing.

The Alienware m15 2019 is one of the sharpest-looking and feeling gaming laptops to date, with impressive niceties such as a clever cooling solution and deep key travel in spite of its thin frame. We just wish the entry-level pricing was a little more generous.

The Alienware m15 is a great step forward for the company, but it ultimately doesn’t get our recommendation. It’s hard to create the perfect portable system on the first attempt, and many competitors have simply been doing this for longer and have more refined, better options today that you should consider instead.

15.60":
15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.
