Deal | Affordable RTX 5060 gaming laptop: Lenovo LOQ 15 Gen 10 is now 34% cheaper than list price

While Black Friday and Cyber Monday have come and gone, there are still plenty of gaming laptop deals available online. Best Buy, for instance, has now dropped the price of the Lenovo LOQ 15 Gen 10 gaming laptop with an RTX 5060 to its historic-low price of just $849.99. Representing a big $450 price cut, the Lenovo LOQ 15IRX10 on sale is a pretty solid value if all you need is a reliable laptop for 1080p gaming.

The Lenovo LOQ 15 Gen 10 (2025) pairs the full-power RTX 5060 laptop GPU with a 14-core Core i7-13650HX CPU, 16 GB of DDR5 memory, and 512 GB of PCIe Gen 4 storage. A 60 Wh battery, Wi-Fi 6 and BT 5.2 round off the list of primary features of the laptop.

On the outside, the Lenovo LOQ 15 retains last-year’s understated chassis. The 15.6-inch IPS display has a 144 Hz refresh rate - and presumably, pretty high response times of around 20 ms. There is a full-sized backlit keyboard, a comfortably sized trackpad, and a 1080p webcam. The Luna Grey chassis also carries a good port selection with:

• Three Type-A ports
• One Type-C port with DisplayPort and Power Delivery
• An HDMI 2.1 output
• A 3.5 mm combo jack
• An ethernet jack
• A power-in

Based on the specs alone, the Lenovo LOQ 15 Gen 10 seems ready to tackle even the most demanding AAA games at 1080p. We are happy to report that the laptop also does quite well in real-world testing. Our review of the Lenovo LOQ 15 15AHP10, a fundamentally similar model with an RTX 5060 and Ryzen 7 250, proved that the notebook has a lot to be proud of, including stable CPU and GPU performance.

For instance, our LOQ 15AHP10 review sample managed to run Cyberpunk 2077 at 90+ FPS at 1080p with high settings. Since the Core i7-13650HX is more powerful than the Ryzen 7 250, CPU-limited games should play even better on the LOQ 15IRX10 than on the review unit mentioned above.

We were also pleased with the input devices and color-accurate display of the laptop. As for complaints, these included single-channel RAM, loud fans, and short battery life. Fortunately, the Lenovo LOQ 15 Gen 10 carries a spare RAM slot for DDR5 memory as well as a spare M.2 slot for more storage. Sadly, you’ll have to look hard to find a DDR5 stick for a reasonable price right now, as the memory market is turning rather ugly.

All in all, the Lenovo LOQ 15 Gen 10 gaming laptop with its RTX 5060 for just $849.99 is an undeniably attractive deal. In the current market where GPU prices are set to increase by quite a bit, buying a gaming laptop is among the few viable options left for gamers.
