Acer power stations and solar panels launching soon
Acer has revealed a new range of energy storage options with accompanying accessories for Europe. The products have been designed to be used in your home in an emergency, when camping or in an outdoor office. The line-up includes three power stations: 600W, 1,800W and 3,000W models.
The range-topping 3,000W version, APS331, has a 2,560Wh battery capacity, fully recharging in under two hours and lasting for up to 4,000 cycles. You can connect up to six additional battery packs to this larger device for a total capacity of 17,500 kWh. There are various ports, such as four USB-A, two of which support fast charging, two USB-C, a car output, three AC, two DC 5521 and an Anderson port. The power station measures 536 x 303 x 343 mm (~21.1 x 11.9 x 13.5-in) and weighs 34 kg (~75.0 lbs). The 1,800W APS321 has a 1,229 Wh capacity, with two ACs, four USB-A, two USB-C and two DC 5521. The smallest 600W model, the APS311, with a 512 Wh battery, has a similar selection of ports to the 1,800W device.
The line-up also includes 100W, 200W and 400W foldable solar panels, which can be used to charge the gadget. The monocrystalline silicon panels have a 23% conversion rate, are rated as IP67 waterproof and have a built-in kickstand. The Acer 600W, 1,800W, and 3,000W power stations will retail for €699, €1,399 and €2,199 when they go on sale in Europe in March 2024. The extra 2,500Wh battery pack will cost €1,699. Plus, the 100W, 200W and 400W solar panels will be priced at €29,€449, and €849, respectively.
