The entry-level ultrathin gaming laptop from Acer comes equipped with high-end specifications and a decent asking price.

Newegg is currently running a sale on the ultra-thin 15.6-inch Acer Predator Triton 300 gaming laptop. This particular model is Acer's low-end solution as opposed to the mid-range Predator Triton 500 or high-end Predator Triton 700.

The deal is notable for the high specifications relative to the price point. Though the Core i7-10750H CPU and 16 GB of RAM are to be expected, the 512 GB NVMe SSD, GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q GPU, and 240 Hz display are commonly found on gaming laptops retailing for much more. Other models in this same price range would typically come with the GeForce RTX 2060 instead for slightly slower gaming performance and a slower display refresh rate of 60 Hz, 120 Hz, or 144 Hz.

The Predator Triton 300 shouldn't be confused with the Predator Helios 300 which is a thicker model from the same manufacturer.
