Acer Predator Triton 500 SE offers Intel Tiger Lake-H45 along NVIDIA RTX 3080 Laptop graphics and couple of WQXGA high-refresh rate display options
Back during CES 2021, Acer offered the Predator Triton 300 SE powered by Tiger Lake-H35 Core i7-11375H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Max-Q. Now, at its next@acer event, Acer is introducing the Predator Triton 500 SE.
The Predator Triton 500 SE can be configured with up to Intel 11th gen Core i9 45 W processors and up to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU. Cooling these components is Acer's VortexFlow technology that is comprised of three fans and five heatpipes along with strategically placed inlet and outlet openings. Gamers can also use PredatorSense to configure system temperature, power, and performance as needed.
The Triton 500 SE can also be configured with up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM and up to 4 TB PCIe Gen 4 storage. Acer has endowed the Predator Triton 500 SE with a 16-inch 16:10 display that offers an 87% screen-to-body ratio. The display is available in two options — a 165 Hz WQXGA 500-nit panel and a 240 Hz WQXGA IPS PolarBlack panel with NVIDIA G-SYNC.
Connectivity options include Killer E3100G Ethernet and Killer Wi-Fi 6 along with 2x Thunderbolt 4 ports, 2x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, HDMI-out, RJ-45, SD card reader, and a combo audio jack. Acer said that the Triton 500 SE can offer up to 12 hours of battery life on the move.
The Acer Predator Triton 500 SE PT516-51s will be available from mid-Q3 2021 at prices starting from €1,799.
