You get what you pay for with gaming laptops, and at this cost level you can expect a few things to be less than premium. With its older CPU and low-end GPU, the Acer Nitro V15 still manages to pump out the frames at 1080p, but does it with a level of noise and bluster you might have thought a thing of the past.

The Acer Nitro V 15 Intel is a capable 1080p gaming machine with a surprisingly vibrant display to boot. The amount of heat it generates can be a little disruptive, though, and certain aspects of its design bespeak its budget pricing. It’s an admirable effort, all things considered – the competition in this budget space is stiff, but the Nitro V 15 Intel acquits itself well.
