Acer has announced multiple tablets in the Iconia series at IFA 2025, including the Iconia A16. The Acer Iconia A16 is an Android tablet that features a large display, integrated kickstand, and an affordable price point.
Specifications and features
The new tablet from Acer features a 16-inch IPS panel with a FHD resolution. However, the company has not revealed other display details like its refresh rate.
The Iconia A16 is powered by the Allwinner A733 chipset, which includes an integrated NPU for AI features. It is an eight-core processor based on a 12nm architecture. Furthermore, the tablet includes up to 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It also supports microSD expansion up to 1TB.
The Iconia A16 has an 8MP camera on the rear that supports autofocus. For selfies, the tablet has a 5MP camera on the front. It has an 8,000mAh battery with up to 10 hours of battery life, as claimed by the company. The tablet comes out of the box with Android 15. In terms of connectivity, the new Acer tablet supports dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4.
Some notable features of the Iconia A16 include an integrated kickstand for hands-free use. Additionally, it supports Acer Screen Casting, enabling wireless mirroring from a computer. It also offers quad stereo speakers. The tablet measures 8.9 mm thick and weighs 980 g. It comes in a Vapor Silver color option.
Pricing and availability
The Acer Iconia A16 is set to release in Q2 2026 with a price tag of €299 (~$349). Apart from the Iconia A16, the company has also announced the A14, with a 14-inch display. Moreover, the company revealed additional models, including the Iconia X12 and the X14.
