Acer's new Iconia A14 is a budget large-screen tablet with a built-in kickstand. Its 14-inch display makes it great for watching videos, but it can also be used as a secondary display for a computer for more productive work.

Although Acer has been making tablets for over a decade, it has been overtaken in the segment by several brands, including Apple, Samsung, Huawei, Lenovo, and Xiaomi. Nevertheless, that hasn’t stopped it from launching new models such as the Acer Iconia X12 (read our review). Now, the Taiwanese manufacturer has brought a handful of new tablets to IFA 2025, one of which is the Acer Iconia A14.

The Iconia A14 is a budget Android tablet, but it boasts a large display like many recent Android flagship tablets. Sporting a 14-inch Full HD IPS display, the Iconia A14 has a resolution of 1200 x 1920. Acer claims it features a wide viewing angle and a ZeroFrame design, making it suitable for browsing the web or watching shows and movies due to its large size. In addition, the tablet has a screen-casting function, an integrated kickstand, and can be used as a secondary display.

Instead of a Qualcomm or MediaTek chip, Acer opted for an Allwinner processor. Under the hood is an Allwinner A733 — an 8-core processor with Cortex-A76 and Cortex-A55 CPU cores — paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There’s an 8MP camera with autofocus on the back of the tablet and a 5MP camera on the front.

The Acer Iconia A14 has quad speakers, an audio jack at the top left corner, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, and dual Type-C ports. It also packs an 8,000mAh battery, which seems small when compared to similar-sized tablets like the TCL NxtPaper 14 (curr. available on Amazon for $369.99), which has a 10,000mAh battery capacity. Notwithstanding, Acer says the battery should last up to 10 hours, although real-life usage may provide a different result.

The Android 15-running Iconia A14 comes in a single color called Vapor Silver and is expected to be available in Q1 2026 for €249.
