After revealing the design and some technical details including the processor of its upcoming Odin 3 handheld, AYN has now shared the color options the device will be available in. The Odin 3 will be available in four colors, one of which will be decided by the official AYN community.
AYN already showed the handheld in Black. In addition to this, the device will be available in White with matching buttons while the third color called Rainbow is an off-white hue with gray thumbsticks and D-pad, and colored ABXY buttons (red, yellow, green, and blue).
For the fourth color that will be decided via a poll on the official AYN community forums (Discord and QQ), the company has provided the choice of either Clear Blue or Clear Purple, both of which have a translucent design. As at the time of writing, 51% of voters on Discord have chosen Clear Purple while the remaining 49% have opted for Clear Blue. The poll will run for 24 hours, so we should know what the fourth color will be tomorrow, September 3.
As a recap, the Odin 3 will have a 6-inch 120Hz FHD AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and an 8,000mAh battery capacity. The Android-powered handheld will have asymmetrical thumbsticks with RGB lights, dual back buttons, front-facing speakers, an audio jack, a MicroSD card slot, and a USB-C port. Its dimensions are 224.8 x 87.5 x 16.6 mm and its weight is given as 390 grams.
There is no info yet on the price but it remains to be seen if it will be cheaper than the Konkr Pocket Fit Elite which will start at under $399 and is rumored to be powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. However, unlike the Konkr Fit Elite that has a 144Hz 1080p LCD panel, the Odin 3 has a 120Hz 1080p OLED display which might make it more expensive.
