ASUS Zenbook Duo: Entry-level pricing confirmed globally for new dual OLED display laptop
ASUS opened pre-orders for the Zenbook Duo (UX8406) in January, having presented the laptop earlier that month during CES 2024 in Las Vegas. While the company began shipping the Zenbook Duo a few months ago, there appears to have been stock problems of late across multiple markets. That should soon could be changing though, thanks to the machine's addition to ASUS' various online stores.
For reference, the Zenbook Duo starts at €1,599 in the Eurozone with a Core Ultra 5 125H processor, a 1,920 x 1,200-pixel and 60 Hz display, 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. In comparison, ASUS will charge a minimum of $1,499 for the Zenbook Duo in the US, albeit with a more powerful Core Ultra 7 155H processor. However, the UK will only receive a Core Ultra 9 185H variant for £1,999.99, which also contains 32 GB of RAM, a 2 TB SSD and a 3K display that has a 120 Hz refresh rate.
By contrast, an equivalent SKU will cost $1,928 in the US and €2,499 in the Eurozone. Please note ASUS ships a detachable keyboard and active stylus with all SKUs, unlike Microsoft and its Surface Pro products. For now, we have only reviewed the Zenbook Duo in its Core Ultra 9 185H guise, although many of our impressions shuld apply to ASUS' cheaper SKUs too.
