ASUS has started selling the Vivobook S 14X OLED and Vivobook S 16X OLED in Europe, just over a month after it unveiled the pair. While not all configurations are available yet, the Vivobook S 14X OLED and Vivobook S 16X OLED should eventually start at €1,099. As it stands, ASUS is offering the former for €1,299 and the latter for €1,399.
Coincidentally, both laptops come with the same processor, despite the €100 price difference. Specifically, ASUS equips both with the Intel Core i7-12700H, a 45 W Alder Lake-H processor with 14 cores and 20 threads. Additionally, the Core i7-12700H has an Iris Xe Graphics G7 integrated GPU. Similarly, ASUS equips both configurations with a 1 TB SSD and 16 GB of RAM.
For reference, the Vivobook S 14X OLED is the smaller of the two laptops, albeit still with a 17.9 mm chassis thickness and a 1.63 kg carry weight. In comparison, the Vivobook S 16X OLED is as thick as the Vivobook S 14X OLED while weighing 1.8 kg. Still, both models have 70 Wh batteries that they can recharge at up to 90 W via USB Type-C.
However, the Vivobook S 14X OLED has a lower resolution display, which outputs at 2,880 x 1,800 pixels. The panel has a 129 Hz refresh rate though, unlike the Vivobook S 16X OLED, whose 3,840 x 2,160-pixel panel outputs at 60 Hz. More details about both laptops can be found via the links below and in our corresponding launch articles.
