Deal | ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 with Core i9-12900H and RTX 3070 Ti discounted in new deal

Amazon US has discounted the ASUS ROG Strix Scar 15 G533ZW-AS94Q, a lesser version of the GeForce RTX 3080-powered SKU that Newegg reduced earlier this month. The G533ZW-AS94Q has a CPU advantage over the G533QS-DS94 though, with an Intel Core i9-12900H offered in the former and the AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX powering the latter. According to our database, the Intel Core i9-12900H outperforms the AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX by approximately 12%.

Meanwhile, the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti in the G533ZW-AS94Q only trails the GeForce RTX 3080 in the G533QS-DS94 by 5% in our database. The also G533ZW-AS94Q has a 240 Hz display, 16 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1 TB SSD, among other features. Incidentally, we reviewed practically the same SKU last May, albeit with 32 GB of quad-channel RAM and a 2 TB SSD. In short, the ROG Strix Scar 15 can make full use of the Intel Core i9-12900H and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti.
