AMD Ryzen 9 4900H APU teams up with Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 for encouraging Ashes of the Singularity performance
A Ryzen 4000 series APU in the form of the Ryzen 9 4900H has been discovered being tested on the Ashes of the Singularity benchmark. An Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 GPU was also present in the system. Although the benchmark was run on the minimum 1080p preset level, the results should be encouraging to those curious about the Renoir processor’s performance.
Of course it helps that there is an RTX 2060 available in this particular Ashes of the Singularity test, which was unearthed by Komachi Ensaka, but the benchmark puts load on both the GPU and CPU (or in this case, the Ryzen 9 4900H APU) so high frame rates are indicative of high-performance components. The average frame rate recorded was a healthy 75.5 fps.
In regard to the individual batch results, the Ryzen 9 4900H and GeForce RTX 2060 combination managed over 58 fps for the heavy batch, over 83 fps for the medium batch, and 94 fps for the normal batch. It’s a promising result, and it shines a bright light on the gaming performance power of the Renoir APU, especially when teamed up with a Turing GPU.
