7 new games now available on Xbox Game Pass
Last week, Game Pass subscribers had just two new games to explore, but this week offers the full package. On January 22, Microsoft added seven fresh titles to its gaming subscription. Below, we’ve outlined what players can look forward to with each new addition.
Flock
Flock is a game that focuses on relaxation rather than competition or time pressure. This cooperative, open-world flying experience lets players take on the role of a guardian, riding on the back of a giant bird. Soaring through expansive landscapes, they gather creatures to expand their flock and enjoy the tranquil journey.
Gigantic: Rampage Edition
Gigantic: Rampage Edition is a remastered take on the original 5v5 MOBA shooter Gigantic. Players can choose from 25 unique heroes, each with upgradable abilities. Teaming up with four allies, the goal is to protect your guardian while working together to take down the opposing team.
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is an action-strategy game from Capcom set in a world inspired by Japanese folklore. By day, players explore Mount Kafuku, purify villages from corruption and save villagers. At night, alongside those rescued, they defend the priestess Yoshiro from relentless attacks by the "damned."
Magical Delicacy
Magical Delicacy is a delightful pixel art platformer with Metroidvania elements. Players step into the shoes of Flora, a young girl who arrives in the port city of Grat to pursue her dream of becoming a true witch. She opens a shop where she crafts magical dishes and potions. Players can customize their kitchen, uncover new recipes, explore the city to gather ingredients and deliver orders to the locals.
Tchia
Tchia is an open-world action-adventure game where players embody the titular protagonist, exploring a vibrant tropical island to rescue her kidnapped father from the oppressive ruler Meavora. With her special ability, the "soul leap", Tchia can take control of more than 30 animals and numerous objects to solve puzzles and explore her surroundings.
The Case of the Golden Idol
The Case of the Golden Idol is an 18th-century detective puzzle game where players investigate twelve enigmatic deaths over a span of 50 years, all tied to a mysterious golden idol. By gathering clues and piecing together keywords, you unravel the events of each case, identify the culprits and uncover their motives.
Starbound
In this 2D sandbox adventure, players begin as survivors of a shattered world and venture into a procedurally generated universe filled with planets, each featuring distinct biomes, creatures and challenges. Blending exploration, building, combat and role-playing elements, the game invites players to follow the main story while constructing bases, crafting gear and battling formidable enemies.
