2025 saw the launch of several notable phones and in gorgeous colors too, such as the Cosmic Orange iPhone 17 Pro (Max), the Velvet Red Oppo Find X9 Pro, and the Green Vivo X Fold 5. However, one particular color that appeared across several brands and models is blue.
Several phones launched in one shade or hue of blue, such that one can say 2025 was the year of blue smartphones. Here are 10 of the gorgeous blue smartphones that launched in 2025:
OnePlus 13 - Midnight Ocean
Actually, the OnePlus 13 launched in October 2024, but didn't get a global release until January 7, 2025. We are going with the latter date, which is why it makes the list. Available in three colors, including White and Black, the Midnight Ocean color option is the only one of the three that has a microfiber vegan leather finish instead of glass. This means you don't have to worry about the back shattering if it hits the floor, unlike the other colors. And if we are being honest, it is also the best looking of them all.
The Midnight Ocean is exclusive to the 512GB version and is currently available on Amazon for $799.99.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 - Blue Shadow
Samsung received lots of praise for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, particularly with respect to its design. Samsung not only caught up with the competition with its design, but also made a great choice with the Blue Shadow color. The shade is similar to the Galaxy S25's Navy color, which is also gorgeous, but the Galaxy Z Fold 7 rocks it better.
Motorola Edge 60 - Gibraltar Sea
Motorola has never been one to shy away from colors, especially when compared to rivals. Many of its phones are available in hues that turn heads, and a perfect example is the Motorola Edge 60. Available in three colors — Gibraltar Sea, Plum Perfect, and Shamrock — each with its own unique finish.
The Gibraltar Sea colorway has a canvas-like texture despite being made of silicone, while the other two have a leather-like finish. The Motorola Edge 60 in Gibraltar Sea (currently €299 on Amazon.de) is a favorite as it is not only attractive but also maintains a classy look compared to the Plum Perfect and Shamrock color options.
Realme GT 8 Pro - Urban Blue
Best described as a beautiful beast, the Realme GT 8 Pro is one of the latest flagships on this list. Announced in October, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered smartphone has an interesting design. Rather than a single camera island design, Realme lets users swap out the shell covering the cameras for one with a different shape or color. This way, users can literally change the design of the phone.
The Realme GT 8 Pro is available in four colors, including a special edition Aston Martin Green, but the Urban Blue variant (available on Amazon.de for €999.99) with its leather-like finish makes it one of the best-looking blue smartphones released in 2025.
Pixel 10 - Indigo
The Pixel 10 brought a number of upgrades such as a brighter display, a telephoto camera, a bigger battery, and faster charging. It also launched in some cool colors, including a stunning Indigo, which makes it stand out from its more expensive siblings.
While Google isn't new to blue phones, with the most recent model prior to the Pixel 10's launch being the Bay Pixel 8 Pro, the Indigo Pixel 10 (available on Amazon for $739.99) is reminiscent of the Really Blue Pixel (XL) which was the first Pixel smartphone.
Nothing Phone (3a) - Blue
Nothing has always played it safe with colors for its phones (excluding its CMF and community edition models) as its phones have either launched in black, gray, or white. However, when it announced the Phone (3a) series in March 2025, it surprised us with a strikingly beautiful Blue Nothing Phone (3a).
The color really pops and complements Nothing's transparent design and Glyph Interface. Unfortunately, it seems Nothing has stopped producing this variant, as it is no longer available on the Nothing website. Let's hope, it won't be the last colorful phone from the London-based phone brand.
Motorola G96 - Ashleigh Blue and Dresden Blue
With the Moto G96, Motorola chose to launch the phone in two shades of blue. There's Ashleigh Blue which has a soft and warm appearance, and there's Dresden Blue which is more flamboyant. Both have a vegan leather finish like the other two colors, Greener Pastures and Cattleya Orchid.
Whichever one of the two blue color options you choose, you will be getting a decently-specced mid-range smartphone that is sadly marred by Motorola's poor decision to provide only one Android OS software upgrade.
Samsung Galaxy S25 FE - Navy
Blue was a recurring color for Samsung's Galaxy S25 series smartphones, and that includes the Galaxy S25 FE. While Samsung also calls its Navy like that of the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus, it is more of a pastel blue and not as dark as that of its siblings.
In addition, Samsung's decision to give the Galaxy S25 FE (curr. $599 on Amazon) a silver frame rather than paint it in the same color as the back panel, makes it stand out from its siblings. Frankly speaking, the two-tone design actually looks pretty good.
Poco F8 Ultra - Denim Blue
The Poco F8 Ultra is a late 2025 flagship powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The smartphone is based on the Redmi K90 Pro Max sold in China and is available in Black and Denim Blue.
Despite its look, it isn't actual denim fabric. According to Xiaomi, it is “a nanotech material that is made from natural silicon ore”, designed to mimic the denim look. Just like Samsung did with the Galaxy S25 FE, the Poco F8 Ultra (Available on Amazon.de for €849.87) has gone for a different color for the mid-frame. It is a light gray, and it matches with the camera deco.
Motorola Edge 60 Stylus - Pantone Surf the Web
Another Motorola smartphone rounds up the list, and this time it is the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus. Exclusive to India, the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus is the first Edge model with an integrated stylus. However, it is actually a close sibling of the US-exclusive Moto G Stylus 5G (2025) (available on Amazon for $391.12).
Announced in two colors - Surf the Web and Gibraltar Sea, like the Motorola Edge 60 - the former is the one that catches the eye. It is almost like the Indigo Pixel 10 but has a vegan leather finish instead of glass like you have on the Pixel 10.
