1More seems intend on either updating or refreshing its audio peripheral offerings these days - however, the Penta Driver P50 earphones go the furthest in terms of audiophile clout with their IEM-like "Pre-Formed" ear-loops leading to "45-degree ear nozzles" that are, furthermore, detachable with an MMCX interface.
The P50s are also designed for "ErgoFit" comfort during listening sessions, which, according to 1More, might be prolonged due to their "music enthusiast"-friendly quality. It is apparently achieved with a combination of the OEM's hallmark DLC dynamic driver and 4 additional, balanced armature units, put together using a "patented acoustic design" for "a precise and balanced audio output".
The earphones are thus rated for a 20-40,000Hz frequency range with a sensitivity of 105 decibels (dB) and 32 ohms (Ω) of resistance. They are also rated for -28dB noise reduction, and are equipped with silver-plated oxygen-free copper (OFC) wire coated with "skin-friendly" TPE for "lossless transmission". Certified Hi-Res Audio also makes a return in these new 1More accessories.
Finally, the P50s' MMX connectors and 3.5mm jack are gold-plated, even if this means their compatibility is no longer as universal as 1More seems to think. They also help bump the new earphones' price up to US$169.99 on the OEM's website, while availability on Amazon is forthcoming.
