iQOO is said to augment its upcoming Z9 series of mid-range Android smartphones with a device that will be both its first Turbo variant and first to be powered by the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. Now, it is also tipped to be among the fastest handsets with the SoC on Geekbench, despite having the exact same specs as some of its rumored rivals on the platform.

The iQOO Z8 has now been succeeded by a device now available in India for INR 19,999 (~$240) - however, it is also now believed to become outshined by the Z9 Turbo, or Vivo's first-ever Snapdragon 8s Gen 3-powered smartphone, soon. Now, this device has allegedly surfaced on Geekbench ahead of its possibly imminent launch.

This new rumor comes in the form of the discovery of the vivo V2352A on the benchmark's website. Wtih Android 14 and 16GB of RAM, its new listing is a carbon-copy of that now attributed to the "Realme GT 6" - except that its supposed iQOO twin uses the governor walt rather than uag.

Apparently, that single tweak gets more out of the 8s Gen 3, particularly in terms of multi-core scores. The "Z9 Turbo" now has some of the best of those associated with Qualcomm's new "premium Snapdragon" processor, beating many Geekbench listings associated with the Xiaomi CIVI 4 Pro (or, possibly, Redmi Turbo 6 for the global market) and Motorola Edge 50 Ultra thus far.
