Xiaomi Smart Scale S200 with app now available in more European countries

The Xiaomi Smart Scale S200 is now available in more European countries. This product was launched in China in 2024, and was subsequently released in the UK. It is designed to replace your typical bathroom scales with app-based features.

Xiaomi’s Smart Scale S200 can be used to weigh people or objects. It provides measurements to the nearest 0.05 kg (~0.1 lbs), with a weighing range of 0.1 to 150 kg (~0.2 to 331 lbs). The device can take up to four readings at once: weight, BMI, standard weight and weight control. Standard weight appears to be a reflection of your ideal weight based on your height and age. Users can get a personalized weight report showing trends over time frames like weeks, months and years.

Plus, there is a balance testing mode, with your coordination, stability and reaction time measured while the user stands on one leg. In the Xiaomi Home app, these measurements can be logged against yourself, a guest, a baby or an object, storing data for up to 36 people or items. It supports Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 4.5, and according to the product listing, it can run for up to 180 days on three AAA batteries.

You can now buy the Xiaomi Smart Scale S200 in countries like France and Germany for €19.99. It is slightly cheaper in Spain, currently available for €14.99. In the UK, you can buy the product for £15.99. Customers can choose between gray and white versions, each measuring 280 x 280 x 24.5 mm (~11.0 x 11.0 x 1.0 inches).
