Xiaomi Mi 11 or Mi Mix 4: Snapdragon 875 and 2K resolution display among superlative spec list teased for future Xiaomi smartphone

Digital Chat Station has been busy with a few hints at what the Xiaomi Mi 11, or whatever that device ends up being named (Xiaomi Mi 20?), may deliver upon release. The noted tech tipster has now stated that the Mi 11 will “debut the Snapdragon 875 in China” and will enjoy a period of exclusivity. It’s widely accepted that this particular flagship smartphone from Xiaomi will brandish the latest and greatest SoC from Qualcomm.

However, it also appears that the Mi 11, along with possibly coming with an expected under-screen selfie camera, might be able to boast of a screen with a 2K resolution. The same source has revealed that the “2K high refresh screen” has been acquired by Xiaomi, potentially for the Mi 11. But there are some Xiaomi fans that believe these key specifications could actually point in the direction of a majestic Mi Mix 4.

Strangely enough, Digital Chat Station offered up what seemed on the surface to be a sort of wish list for flagship smartphones in 2021: SD 875, 2K display with high refresh rate (120 Hz), 200 W and above for fast charging, improved camera equipment, and around 150x super zoom. Obviously any device from any OEM with these incredible specs would be particularly captivating, but what if the leaker is actually hinting at either the specsheet for a Mi 11 or even a future Mi Mix device?

While the Xiaomi Mi 11 is expected to surface for a launch in the first quarter of 2021, the Mi Mix 4 is still shrouded in mystery. However, a few months ago a leak from a fellow well-known tipster, Xiaomishka, offered up some amazing specs for a Mi Mix 4 that seemed ridiculous at the time but are becoming more and more acceptable as the months go by: SD 875, 100 W fast charging, 2K display @120 Hz, 150 MP main sensor. Clearly, Xiaomi has something special in the works for its first smartphone powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 875, regardless of what model name it ends up with.
