Xiaomi Gaming Mouse Lite launches with a Pixart 3327 optical sensor with DPI adjustments at a bargain price
Xiaomi has launched a new gaming mouse in China, the Gaming Mouse Lite. Sold through its Youpin platform, the gaming mouse has IP54 certification against dust and water, which should also be useful against sweat. Additionally, the mouse weighs just 72 g and has built-in RGB lighting that you can customise through software.
At the heart of the Gaming Mouse Lite is the Pixart 3327, an optical sensor that supports up to 6,200 DPI. Like many gaming mice, the Gaming Mouse Lite has a few DPI profiles. Specifically, the gaming mouse can cycle between 400, 800, 1,600, 3,200 and 6,200 DPI. Moreover, the mouse has a 1,000 Hz polling rate, in part because of its 32-bit ARM NXP processor.
Unfortunately, it is unclear if Xiaomi will release the gaming mouse outside China. Still, Xiaomi has dipped its toes into the gaming market beyond China with devices like the Mi Curved Gaming Monitor, which launched in Europe for €399. Typically, third-party retailers will fill the gap if Xiaomi decides against releasing the Gaming Mouse Lite globally. However, we cannot find any listings at the time of writing.
