According to a new rumor, Xiaomi is about to launch a Plus version of its Electric Scooter 5 - even though it has Pro, Max and Elite variants already.
Nevertheless, it is now reportedly registered on the database of the TDRA regulatory agency in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) under the model number DDHBC24LQ (even though other members of the Electric Scooter 5 series have been linked to others with the format DDHBC3xxx or DDHBC4xxx to date).
It has been certified as a "low power/short-range" device, which might fit the description of a vehicle rated to go for about 60 kilometers (~37 miles) per charge in its vanilla iteration.
The "Electric Scooter 5 Plus" might fit in between that model and its Pro sibling (as the "Elite" is in fact an entry-level variant) in terms of specs.
Should that be the case, it might have a motor powered at between 700 and 1000 watts (W), a smart display integrated seamlessly into the handlebars, tubeless 10-inch tires and perhaps dual shock absorbers.
In the meantime, the Electric Scooter 4 Pro is available at $649.99 on Amazon.
