INMOTION touts the RS as an extra-high-performance e-scooter, with a dual 2,000 watt (W) motor system that can achieve a peak of 8,400W to power it up 25-degree inclines at up to 68 miles per hour (mph). It is now available to buy direct from the OEM following its success as a crowdfunding reward.

The INMOTION RS is still marketed as a e-scooter capable of going from 0 to 30 mph in just 3.5 seconds thanks to its up-to-8,400W IPX6 design - just not on Kickstarter any more.

The "supercar" among scooters might also outdo many of its rivals (and a number of e-bikes) with a 72V 40Ah (2,880Wh) battery rated for up to 100 miles of range (under certain conditions). It is also equipped with dual shocks, bright head- and tail-lights and 11-inch tubeless tires.

INMOTION also touts the RS as a "4-in-1" scooter with a deck that can be set at either 183 millimeters (mm), 232mm, 279mm or 303mm in height for different riding experiences, off-road and commute-ready included. Its handlebars can also be adjusted to match.

Its retail version can be ordered from now in the US or the EU for $3,999.95/€3,999 at the time of writing, whereas the 600~900W, 17-24mph Qi3MAX from NIU goes for $749 on Amazon.
