iQOO has now given numerous details on its upcoming 8-series flagship smartphones away prior to their launch. Now, their latest teasers have turned to how these devices will look from the back. Despite the good news for fans of the brand's BMW tie-in, a potentially disappointing debunking of an earlier tip has now also emerged.

iQOO has already confirmed that it will launch the 8 series of premium smartphones 9 days from today (August 8, 2021). They are slated to improve compared to the existing 7 flagship in that they will be powered by the freshly-launched Snapdragon 888+ processor from Qualcomm.

Their maker has also set the prospect of a potentially upgraded 2K AMOLED display in these mid-year refreshes. Therefore, we may already know what the iQOO 8 and 8 Pro will look like from the front - but what about the back? The OEM has also now dispelled any possible suspense in this regard with its latest teaser.

This new poster effectively announces that the 8 series will essentially have the same "Track" and "Legendary" themes seen in the original 7. Therefore, its unique white colorway with a BMW-inspired tricolor stripe will return in its upcoming iterative upgrade.

Some iQOO fans might be glad to see this style, debuted in its 2020 flagship, make yet another comeback in 2021. The 5 Pro was also the first device from this OEM to launch with 120W charging. On that note, the latest teaser also seems to confirm that the 8 series will stick with this technology, despite having been touted to be the world's first 160W smartphones at one stage.
