The premium smartphone brand iQOO has teased a new launch for a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888-powered device in India. A prominent leaker asserts that it is not merely the iQOO 7, but the BMW-themed Legendary version. It will cost ~US$545 at the most in its new market.

The 7 is the second generation of iQOO flagship phones co-branded with BMW. The result of this partnership are Track and Legendary editions of the device, the latter of which has a rear panel done up in the marque's motorsport livery.

The finish is applied to conventional glass rather than vegan leather as in the 5 series, although it more than made up for that by being the most powerful Snapdragon 888 smartphone on its launch. Now, iQOO has released a teaser indicating that it will release a device with the same platform in India.

The eminent tipster Mukul Sharma now feels in a position to confirm that it will be the iQOO 7 Legendary (or M Motorsport) variant. This, then, might pose a compelling new premium option for Indian smartphone fans. iQOO has hinted that it will cost between INR 31990 (~US$436) and 39990 (~$545) on its debut.

The iQOO 7 is also available on Amazon
