The next Titanfall game has been a mystery with fans patiently waiting for a sequel, with some believing that it will never happen. Now, it looks like the game is almost complete and will release soon. A new leak states that the game is developed on Unreal Engine 5 and will feature several game modes, including a singleplayer campaign and all the classic game modes from Titanfall 2.
The extensive leak comes from Osvaldatore on X who shared several details about the next Titanfall game, Titanfall 3. The image in the post says the full title for the game will be “Titanfall 3: Escape From The Frontier.” It states that the alleged game is using UE5 and the development is almost complete. Furthermore, the game is said to have a singleplayer campaign and various multiplayer modes, including Extraction, Team Deathmatch, Control, Arenas, and all Titanfall 2 classic modes.
Titanfall 3 could feature a weather system but it is unclear how it will be implemented, whether in singleplayer or multiplayer or both. If it is part of the singleplayer campaign, this would suggest that the game would be more open and exploratory compared to the previous instalment. The leak mentions that some Apex Legends characters will return as well.
Osvaldatore claims that his source is 100% sure about these leaks but not the release date. The post does not mention an announcement or a release date, but judging by the “Almost complete” claim, the game could be announced as soon as end of this year or early next year.
Developed by Respawn Entertainment, Titanfall 2 came out in 2016 and has Overwhelmingly Positive reviews on Steam. The game brought a singleplayer campaign that was absent from the original Titanfall, or at least in the traditional sense, along with several multiplayer modes.
