Amazon Luna is the company’s cloud gaming service that has a fairly limited selection of games. With a new multi-year agreement with EA, the platform is looking to expand its library and bring major titles to its users. Amazon Luna has announced that the most popular games from EA will be added to the growing library, including Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and Dead Space. It also states that Luna is now available in more European countries.
The announcement states that the aforementioned three games will be available to stream on Luna starting today. This is part of a multi-year deal with EA, including EA Sports, and select games will be added over the coming months. David Tinson, EVP and Chief Experiences Officer, Electronic Arts, said in the announcement, “Our teams are focused on building experiences that entertain and engage EA’s massive online communities, and we’re excited to partner with Amazon to make those games available to even more people.”
Luna is included with an Amazon Prime membership, but the library is very limited. The rotating selection of games available with this free tier includes Fortnite, WRC Generations, Jackbox Party Pack 3, Fallout 3, Trackmania, and a few others. It does, however, allow users to link their Ubisoft or GOG accounts and stream games that they already own. Luna+, the subscription tier that costs $10 a month, expands the library to include over 100 games. It also unlocks 1080p at 60FPS and shorter wait times.
According to the Luna cloud gaming page, if you own Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, or Dead Space, and have a Prime subscription, you can start streaming them through Luna by linking your EA account.
Additionally, Luna also announced that its services have expanded to Sweden, Portugal, Belgium, and Luxembourg. It is now available in 14 countries worldwide. Prime members in these countries will have access to Fortnite, LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Trackmania permanently, along with a rotating selection of games, which will swap on March 31.
