Deal | Microsoft Surface Laptop with Snapdragon X Elite hits lowest price ever on Amazon

Amazon's Big Spring Sale is on, and there are tons of deals to be had. One such deal is the 2024 Microsoft Surface Laptop with a Snapdragon X Elite chip, which just hit its lowest price ever on Amazon.

The 2024 Surface Laptop sports Qualcomm's 12-core Snapdragon X Elite X1E-80-100 SoC, one of the best Windows-on-ARM chips available today. The 12-core CPU can run at up to 4.0 GHz and is roughly on par with the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H in ARM-compiled applications. (It should be noted that, in our testing, it can be up to 30% slower when running x86 code.)

The 2024 Surface Laptop on sale also comes with 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. It has a 15-inch display with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2496 x 1664, putting it at 200 PPI. Ports include a 3.5 mm audio jack, a USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps) port, two USB4 ports, a microSD card slot, and Microsoft's Surface Connector. 

Today's sale chops 31% off the laptop's MSRP, bringing its price down to $1179.99. This is the lowest price Amazon has listed the 2024 Surface Laptop at, according to CamelCamelCamel. Windows on ARM continues to get better over time and rules the roost when it comes to battery life.
