Realme officially announces the Realme GT2 Pro with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 flagship chipset
Earlier today, Qualcomm finally debuted its latest flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, officially. The new SoC will make its way to a wide array of Android devices, and one of the few to have been confirmed is the Realme GT2 Pro.
The Realme GT2 Pro has now been officially slated for launch, and it will arrive with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. "It’s official! #realmeGT2Pro, our first and most premium flagship will pack #Snapdragon8Gen1," the company announced on its global Twitter page earlier in the day. "Along with the best chip, what else do you think makes a true premium flagship smartphone?"
Details of the Realme GT2 Pro already leaked comprehensively days ago. In addition to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the Realme flagship phone is tipped to sport a WQHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED, two 50 MP rear cameras and a 3x telephoto lens, a 32 MP selfie camera, and up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Seeing as early Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 phones are expected to debut this month, the Realme GT2 Pro should also make its debut shortly.
