New competitor for Asus Eee PC

The manufacturer Elitegroup Computer Systems created its G10IL, which challenges the Asus Eee PC.
There is another compact and portable notebook, which wants to push the Eee PC from its throne. The competitor is called G10IL, and it was made by ECS. It is also a very compact and cheap notebook, but it provides more features as the Eee PC. Besides one LAN port, and a modem, there is a HSDPA 7.2 Mbit modem installed as well. This enables connecting to the internet, even when there’s no WLAN hotspot in range. Certainly, an external HSDPA modem can be used with the Eee PC too, but the G10IL provides this ex work. Furthermore, a 1.3 mega pixel webcam and three USB ports are built in. The price of the G10IL shall be lower than $ 500,-.
