Intel delivers dual core Atom CPUs

Intel officially starts delivering the first dual core Atom 330 processors.


Intel

The new Intel Atom 330 dual core processor provides a speed of 1.6 GHz and has a TDP of 8 watts. It offers 2 x 512 KB cache and the CPU supports DDR2-667 RAM.
Intel uses its 945GC chipset for the processor (same chipset which is already in use with the single core Atom processor). It includes an Intel graphics media accelerator 950 and Intel high definition audio.
