Some cheap SSD’s are inefficient

The prices of solid state drives are still high, but advertising slogans attract with high reading and writing speed of those devices. Some SSD’s got cheaper, but normal users still resort to conventional hard drives.

TechChannel performed a test of OCZ Core, Transcend and MemoRight GT SSD’s. It emerged that only the expensive MemoRight GT SSD’s are powerful and keep the promise of their advertising slogans.

The cheap solid state drives have weaknesses, especially some when writing or copying. Those are because of their low cache and they can’t reach the speed of the conventional Samsung Spinpoint S6 hard disk.
