Sony Vaio M is now official in Europe

The budget netbook from Sony is now official
Sony Europe has made the Pinetrail-powered budget netbook Vaio M official through at least Amazon Germany – as reported by Netbooked for 348 Euros ($480 approx).
It features a Widescreen 25.5cm (10.1-inch) LED backlit display panel with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:10. The Vaio M is aimed at the budget conscious market and thus carries the specifications most fitted for this range of netbooks (even Sony mentions on their Europe site as Mini notebook for your casual computing needs).
The Vaio M runs an Intel Pineview Atom N450 with a clock speed of 1.6GHz, 1GB DDR2 SDRAM, 250GB hard drive moving at a speed of 5400rpm, and the Intel GMA 3150 graphics chips. Connectivity is via the WLAN 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR. The 6-cell battery should be good for 5-6 hrs of mobile computing. The 1.4kg (including the 6-cell battery) machine has a dimension of 182.8 x 26.4-32.9 x 268 mm.
Sony also throws in 3 USB ports, stereo speakers, Motion Eye webcam for video chatting and a Genuine Windows 7 Starter Edition. Some of the bloatware included when you’ll get the machine are - VAIO Gate, MusicStation, PMB VAIO Edition, VAIO Media Plus, VAIO Care, VAIO Transfer Support, VAIO Smart Network, Windows Live Essentials Suite; Adobe Reader 9; McAfee (60 days free virus update); Norton Online BackUp Trial etc.
The Vaio M is available in two shades – black and white.
