Majority of new Eee PCs will use Windows

Asus thinks that most of their Eee PCs will be shipped with Windows.

The Washington Post reports, that Asus thinks that 60 percent of their Eee PCs will be sold with Windows XP this year. Therefore, the contingent of Linux PCs will shrink. Asus wants to sell about 5 million Eee PCs this year, and 3 millions will be equipped with Win XP. The market-researcher JP Morgan holds that too, because he thinks that customers will will pick Windows, when they are not experienced in using Linux.
