Zepto uses Intel Montevinea chipset

The manufacturer Zepto is going to use Intels new Montevineo chipset in the future.

A press report of Zepto said that they will use the new Intel Montevineo chipset in their notebooks. This architecture consists of the Intel Penyron CPU, the Cantiga chipset, the Boaz LAN module and either Echo Peak or Shilo WiFi. The Cantiga chipset enables using DDR3 memory modules and the Echo Peak wireless module supports WiMAX. This new technologies increase the performance of the notebooks and reduce the power requirement. Morten Kjærsgaard (COO of Zepto Computers) said that those are the reasons why Zepto will use these technologies.
