Dell offers its XPS M1330 now with Penryn CPUs in the USA.

The manufacturer Dell sells its XPS M1330 additionally with Intel Penryn T9300 (2.5 GHz) and T9500 CPU (2.6 GHz). Those configuration options cost an extra charge of $ 400,- and $ 675,- in the USA. Certainly, it’s still possible to get a M1330 with a conventional Intel Core 2 Duo CPU.
Furthermore, the BIOS of the M1330 was updated. Now it supports a non specified Blu-Ray / DVD +/- RW drive. This pushes rumours about an upgrade of those notebooks, and adding such an optical drive. We will see if those rumours will come true.
