Apple presented some articles for solving problems with the MacBook Air. These refer to wireless LAN problems, problems while installing Windows XP via Bootcamp, headphone problems and help with Bluetooth.

Apple recommends MacBook Air owners to use an Ethernet connection while copying important data. They should not use wireless LAN. Furthermore, it’s not possible establishing an Ethernet connection without Apples USB Ethernet adapter.

There are problems with some types of headphones as well, because they do not fit into the notebooks headphone jack. More precisely, it’s not possible plugging the headphone connector deep enough into the headphone jack. This problem can only be solved through buying an adapter.

Some customers want to install Windows XP on their MacBook Air. There are problems when using Bootcamp and Remote Disc as well, because this function does not work while installing. Therefore, the only way for installing Windows XP is using Apples USB disc drive. Furthermore, updating the firmware of some routers is required for enabling Remote Disc.

Moreover, it’s possible that the wireless data transfer rate drops when many devices are connected to the MacBook Air via Bluetooth. The advice in this case is using faster 802.11n wireless connections or deactivating Bluetooth.
