The MSI tablet to hit the market this year for the price of a netbook
It should give a good alternative to people apart from the iPad and Google tablet
Craze for the Apple Tablet was yesterday, now can be a good time for the other companies working on touchscreen tablets that are designed to fill the gap between smart phones and notebooks. Well if people are waiting to see this happen then are not much far from it.
Recently at CES 2010, the 10 inch MSI tablet, the most intriguing product has been spotted. It sports an NVIDIA Tegra2 chipset which gives the low power device a good battery life while working on the various applications like games, surfing web, or playing an HD video. There were hardly few devices on display matching this description, so the MSI tablet earned a good name at the show. Looking at records of MSI in previous years it has been coming up with quality netbooks, video cards and other products and hence it has a good chance to hit the market.
According to DigiTimes, the MSI tablet is expected to come in the second half of 2010 and will be priced at $500.The price set is pretty much same to the base model of the Apple iPad. The two cannot be compared on their features as we are not clear with their spec details. But we do have an idea about the operating systems. The MSI tablet will run the Google Android while the iPad will run the iPhone OS. And this widescreen tablet will also be capable of playing 1080p HD video while iPad tops 720p video playback on its 1024 x 768 pixel display. The MSI’s device will also be able to handle multitasking and would be supporting Adobe Flash at its time of release.
