The new 9” 890i netbook from Red Fox

Red Fox unveils the new 890i, nothing new

Red Fox’s earlier release, the Wizbook N1020i was nothing but looks. With shades like green, yellow and pink – it scores quite a superficial infatuation. They now come up with an 8.9” Wizbook called the Wizbook 890i. It’s powered by the N270 with 1.6 GHz clocking, 32KB L1 cache and 512KB L2 cache. Also it offers 1GB/2GB of DDR2 RAM, 120GB/250GB HDD, XGA TFT LCD display. Connectivity is through the WiFi 802.11b/g. The 3800mAh battery should last for about 4 hours. Red Fox also throws in a webcam.

This 1.1kg (including battery) machine comes with XP pre-installed, and 1 year warranty. Availability and pricing is not known, but it should be available in red first.
