LifeBook P1620 is lighter than the MacBook Air
The compact Fujitsu LifeBook is lighter than the MacBook Air.
Fujitsu introduces the new version of its LifeBook P1620, whose weight is less than the weight of the MacBook Air. The ultra-compact tablet PC is equipped with a 1.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo U7600 CPU, which uses ULV-technology. Furthermore, 2 GB of RAM and a 100 GB hard disk can be ordered too. The predecessor only had 1 GB RAM and a 80 GB hard disk. Moreover, the tablet PC has a 8.9" touch screen display with a resolution of 1.280 x 768 pixels. It is also possible to equip the P1620 with a 32 GB solid state drive instead of a normal hard disk. This upgrade costs $ 299,-. Windows XP tablet PC edition is included, but Windows Vista can be ordered as well. The LifeBook costs $ 1.749,-, and is available in the USA.
