Aspire One 751 already being phased out?

Acer is planning to phase out the recently launched Aspire One 751 netbook.
It is not even a month since Acer launched its 11.6-inch netbook in the US and it is already planning to phase that out. Reportedly the brand new machine is receiving poor sales, and Acer is forced to reduce the order volume already. One possible reason for this could be the slower Z520 processor as explained by portablemonkey, but from a customer point of view that probably won’t hold much of the attention as the difference of speed between the existing Z520 and a suggested Z530 is not very drastic.
Nonetheless, the 10-inch Aspire One still reigns the market, so Acer is probably thinking the 11.6-inch model with the Timeline brand which should have the same dimensions and features but with a CULV processor.
The Aspire One 751 by the way got good reviews for its crisp display. The 11.6-inch display panel holds together 1366 x 768 pixels, which is much sharper than the usual 1024 x 600 found in most existing netbooks. Even the 6-cell 5200mAh battery promises up to 8 hrs of battery life, thanks mainly to the LED displays that eats less life out of the battery (although rumored is that they have been actually shipping the 4400mAh battery instead). The biggest flaw this machine has is, as explained above, is the Z520 processor which clocks at 1.33GHz only, which is illogical in front of the 1.6GHz N270 found in cheaper netbooks. So what is the use when you can play HQ videos but that eats up 100% of your CPU? That also at a price in excess of $600!
So what about the CULV processors? It’s been said that Intel simply is taking the existing ULV processors and tweaking it for the consumer segment. ULV CPUs have a TDP of under 10W, while its Atom N270, used on most Netbooks, has a TDP of 4W. The CULV processor should hit the market later this year, and will aim at the Full-sized Notebooks under $1000.
