The brand-new Gateway EC14D is now shipping

The 11.6-inch netbook comes with a DVD drive
The new EC14D07u laptop from Gateway is finally available with at least one of the e-retailer - B&H is selling the Gateway EC14D for $629.99. It has been in pre-ordering state since early this year with a number or online stores including Amazon.
The 11.6-inch netbook has a 1366 x 768 pixel display panel and is powered by an Intel CULV Pentium SU4100 processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz, and comes with an 8x SuperMulti DVD burner. Acer also throws in 4GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive. For graphics it has the Intel GMA 4500MHD chips, and connectivity will be via 802.11b/g/n WiFi. The EC14D comes pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
