Along with the with usual specs, it takes care of small details
When I say usual stuffs, they are in no way outdated. The new Samsung N210 is powered by the latest Intel Pinetrail Atom N450 processor which has a clock speed of 1.66GHz – same as the N280 and only marginally more than the wide-spread N270. The advantage a user will get with the N450 is the energy efficiency, thanks to the Pinetrail platform that squeezes in both the CPU and GPU in the same die. It also sports a 10.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and Windows 7 Starter Edition, 1GB RAM, 250GB Hard disk and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth.
Liliputing puts up an unboxing video of the netbook, and it looks pretty unique in many ways. Although it comes in both black and white, the review sample is white. You get a cover pouch (not carry pouch), manuals, the 6-cell 4400mAah battery, a small power brick and the chord.
The exterior looks beautiful in white, with oval shaped textures and the Samsung logo in chrome. Although the surface is glossy, it has Samsung’s special fingerprint-proof technology. The left side has the power, Ethernet and 1 USB ports along with the mic and headphone jacks. On the front there is the SD-card slot, power button, and the right side has two more USB ports, VGA output and the provision for locking.
The inside is all-white with stylish chrome edges. The keyboard is island-style with the keys having round edges. The keys are little smaller than usual, with the trackpad and single mouse-button below it. Although the mouse-button is single, there is a clear marking in the middle to separate both left and right mouse-buttons.
Liliputing reports that the matte display screen holds well against direct sunlight. The netbooks is currently available only through Best Buy in the US, where it sells for $379.99.
