ViewSonic announces the release of its VNB102 Viewbook

The 10” netbook will be available on the 18th of December with an MSRP of $399


ViewSonic announced the release of its new 10.1” netbook yesterday. The VNB102 Viewbook is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB DDR2 SDRAM and features the Intel 945GSE chipset with an integrated Intel GMA 950 graphics adapter. The netbook has Windows 7 Starter installed, and 160GB of storage. ViewSonic has suggested a retail price of $399 and states that the netbook won't be available until the 18th of December. Online merchants, CDW and ZONES are currently selling the VNB102 for $389.99 and $435.99 respectively.

ViewSonic states in its press release that it is intending to release more computer systems early next year, although it does not expand on what kind of computer systems are likely to be released. ViewSonic' s VNB100 has impressed reviewers with its apparently good build and display quality, and its reasonable price. ViewSonic appears to have continued their good work with the VNB102, which offers good value for money for a standard netbook.
